Brainchild of the loving couple - Aditya and Aanchal, Loyka is a place where premium quality ingredients come together to give you the perfect soul-satisfying indulgences that are poured with love. The “Lo” is Loyka is dedicated to the love and warmth with which a mother nurtures her child, the “Ka” translates to “soul” and the “Y” in the centre is well -YOU!

What started off in their little home kitchen in 2017 is now a confectionery of over 15,000 sq feet with a staff of 80 people that spreads happiness in over 20 states across the country. Loyka’s delicious treats are for everyone & caters to every mood. We are really grateful to our customers who made Loyka the brand it is today!

 

MEE THE FOUNDERS

 

Aanchal and Aditya, our founder couple who talked only business even during their honeymoon were accidentally married on World Chocolate Day in 2016.  Having moved to Mumbai post marriage, Aanchal wanted to give entrepreneurship a shot rather than joining a corporate yet again. Armed with curiosity and determination to create something unique in the food segment (since we both came from foodie Marwari families), Aanchal experimented in her home kitchen for over 6 months to finally find her Eureka moment in what we now have as our rockstar product: Loyka Almond Brittle. Boosting her confidence Aditya sent samples to friends and family who surprisingly loved it to pieces. But the true validation came in when Aanchal started participating in exhibitions across various cities in India, where people went crazy over the taste of Almond Brittle and every time it would be a stock out!

Always having dreamt of creating something in the food space, Aditya left his comfortable job at Paytm to dive into the difficult waters of entrepreneurship. Not knowing where the expenses for the month ahead would come from and with only blinkers of ambition driving them, Aanchal & Aditya always took risky steps. Hired people who we thought could make a huge impact in the long run (but whom we could barely afford back then), worked 24 hours during peak season time to push sales and shifted to a bigger space every year to accommodate the growing demand. With Aditya’s marketing expertise we could shift our focus from festive gifting to being present at retail outlets across the country. Today Almond Brittle is present in over 7000 stores spread across 20 states in India apart from our online presence.
